Not a point-of-sale system
Elebon is a change calculator with a sales counter for fairs, stands and flea markets. It is not a cash register system within the meaning of the German Cash Register Security Ordinance (Kassensicherungsverordnung), has no certified technical security device (TSE) and does not replace any records required for tax purposes. The app issues no receipts, keeps no cash book and meets no requirements for electronic recording systems under section 146a of the German Fiscal Code. Whether and how your sales must be recorded depends on your situation; check with your club, your school or your tax adviser.
Calculating and counting
The app calculates with the amounts you enter and counts the sales you complete. Mistyped prices, forgotten items or a sale completed twice appear in the statistics exactly like that. Check the numbers before you pass them on; there is no claim to the statistics being correct as a settlement.
Selling together
Syncing via iCloud and sharing with helpers run through Apple’s services. Delays, a missing connection or an Apple account that is not signed in can mean that sales appear later or are not visible on one device. You decide whom you invite into a section; the invited people can change products there and create sales.
Your data
The app’s database is not a backup. It is lost when you delete the app, unless the data is in your iCloud or your device backup. Write down an event’s revenue before you reset the statistics or delete the section.
Scope of liability
Liability for material or immaterial damage arising directly or indirectly from the use or non-use of the app or from incorrect or incomplete information is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, remains unaffected.
Availability
There is no claim to permanent availability. Parts of the offering or the entire offering may be changed, supplemented, deleted or discontinued without separate notice. This also applies to individual features whose basis lies with the maker of the operating system, such as iCloud and sharing.
